Well, the Harry Potter Battle Championship has at last been decided. And the result is a bit of a surprise...
Yes, the toughest, more hardcore, most kick-ass character in the entire Harry Potter canon is...

Minerva McGonagall!!!

The earlier rounds saw her defeat her opponents with ease - her only true challenge came in the final, when she was pitted against her mentor, friend and boss, Albus Dumbledore. After a very close fight, she emerged victorious! What a turn-up for the books!

Here are the points from the last round:

Sirius Black - 2
Minerva McGonagall - 8
Nymphadora Tonks - 0
Albus Dumbledore - 10
Remus Lupin - 4
Severus Snape - 6

This means that Sirius and Tonks are knocked out, and the final four go on to the semi-final!

Well, Round Three was dramatic.
Poor Narcissa didn't stand a chance against her older sister, poor Ginny got her ass kicked by Lucius and Sirius defeated Neville with no trouble at all.
In Round Four, female prodigies go head-to-head, and there are battles within both the Order and the Death Eaters!
Sirius, lucky devil, was the odd one left in the hat at the end of the selections, and so he automatically goes straight through to the next round.

What's this, I hear you cry!
A series of battles between Harry Potter characters, eventually resulting in one character being crowned champion?
Well, yes. Basically the aim is to decide which character out of each pair would emerge the victor in a confrontation between the two - it doesn't have to be physical - it can be verbal, or magical. The pairs have been chosen randomly from a hat, so some of them make sense, others don't, and a few have actually happened.
The poll feature would only let me post this many to start with, so this is only Heat One of the first round. Be sure to check out Heat Two and Heat Three. When voting for all of the Round One pairs has taken place, the victors will be put back into a hat and put into new pairs for Round Two, and so forth until there is only one pair left to compete for the title of Toughest Harry Potter Character.
