'So it's come to this, has it, Albus?' Minerva asked, slowly drawing her wand from the pocket up her sleeve.
'I'm afraid so, Minerva,' he said, sadly. 'I'm going to have to kill you.'
'We'll see about that,' she said, raising an eyebrow.
Eee, McG made it to the final!!!
Vote, and tell your friends!
And yes, *guilty face* I voted McG. See the comments for my reasoning and see if you don't agree :P

Date: 2006-04-22 09:10 am (UTC)1) Verbal - she would totally win. she would PWN him at witty put-downs any day.
2) Physical - OK, this one's trickier. She is half his age, but he's still pretty fit and healthy, so it could go either way. But she could always transform into a cat and get those claws into play, and scratch his goddamn eyes out!!!!
3) Magical - OK. Yes. Albus Dumbledore is the greatest wizard who ever lived. And at the end of OOTP he kicked Voldy's ass without even breaking a sweat. But McG has some pretty powerful magic too. And I figure the only way they'd ever face off is if Dumbledore went crazy and tried to kill everyone and she had to take him down. So, she would be really determined to beat him, and he would have lost all his Yoda-like focus. Plus, she knows him the best, so she would be the only person with a chance of defeating him.

Date: 2006-04-22 10:11 pm (UTC)Plus, JKR said he has no equal in the WW, he's very alone in power as well as intellect. McG would suffer from the teacher effect if she had to turn on him, she'd be full of awe and no where near objective enough.

Yeah, she really respects him and stuff, but she's no wide-eyed fangirl. If she had to fight him, she would, and she'd give it her best shot too.

Date: 2006-04-23 02:49 pm (UTC)I don't know whether she would try her hardest against him in a straight battle, with no extenuating circumstances. He is her mentor and her superior and unless it was one of those cliched 'handing over power to the deputy' battles, I don't think she'd win.
