The time has come to look back on the academic year, and reflect on all the strange and wondrous things that have happened to me.

Best things that happened to me this year:
Meeting my wonderful Uni friends, Claire,

Bumping into

The rekindling of my obsession with The X-Files
Becoming (somewhat) proficient in Russian
Staying in France with Poppy
Birthday shopping with my Moogie
The weekends that

bunnyvon and

deccaboo came to stay

Things I will miss about First Year:
The way our results don't count towards our final degree
Having oral classes with Svetlana four times a week, and the attendant hilarity/angst
The way Claire turns up "Coin Operated Boy" when she listens to the Dresden Dolls so that I can hear it from my room, because she knows it's my favourite song on the album
The way my room is the social hub of our flat, because I'm the only one with a video

Things I won't miss about First Year:
The creatures in our flat
Having Anuja for a flatmate
Living next door to the worst bar ever
Having over 20 hours of contact time a week
