In my closet?

cosmic_llinGrr.
I spent an hour and a half tidying the kitchen this morning, for a couple of reasons. Firstly, it really, really needed doing. It was like a curry had exploded in there. The microwave was full of gunk, the floor was sticky and gross, there was a huge stack of washing up and there was rice all over, well, everything. Also, Claire is coming back today and it really gets on her nerves when the kitchen is a mess, and doubly so when she's just got back, because of course it's not nice to come back to a messy flat.
So I tidied everything. I did the huge pile of washing up. I cleaned the cooker and the microwave, all the surfaces, the floor, everything. And I wasn't just floating around, this was an hour and a half solid, non-stop work.
And now, Anuja and her friends are cooking again, which means that within an hour or so, the kitchen will have returned to its former squalor. Bah. And Claire will never even know how pretty it all looked.
I know she has to eat and all, but how can one girl make so much mess? And why the hell can't she tidy up after herself?
In other news, hooray for XF Season 3!!!

Date: 2005-06-02 08:33 pm (UTC)Yay indeed for season three! I'm watching it at the moment! Is it just me or are Scullys eyes REALLY Blue in season three? They aren't as blue in later seasons! WATCH THE 10th KINGDOM!! It's fun!!
