cosmic_llinSo France was fabulous!
First of all, even the ferry was exciting, because, oh my God, it's just like a shopping centre only on water! Poppy and I had fun thinking of silly plots for MASH fic and Poppy had a cocktail that looked like a Slush Puppie.
During the week we visited a load of French stuff - the Mont St Michel was the very best, but we also visited the local market, an amazing shop called La Maison, a pretty waterfall, a war cemetery, a pretty church and other stuff. I felt a little threatened by the French people, but I didn't have to do much talking!
As well as the touristy stuff, we watched a lot of MASH and Stargate, plus three episodes of the X-Files. For those interested, we watched 'Arcadia', 'Triangle' and 'Rain King', so Poppy is getting a solid foundation of shippiness.
And all in all it was just fabulous and so much fun! Thank you again a million times for inviting me, Pops!

I have the movie on video now, btw :-D Am going to watch it with one of my friends to see if I can get her into XF ;-)
