Still no sign of my loan, apparently there was a mixup where they didn't scan the things they were supposed to at registration and as a results some people will have to go and get that thing scanned again, and then wait another week for their loan, and I may be one of those people.
What do they expect me to do in the meantime? It isn't as if I can ask my parents for handouts after only a week!
But then, I haven't spent unreasonable amounts of money - my rent was nearly £900 for the term, then the deposit was £250, then my internet connection was £70, and I also bought some frivolous things like, you know, a loaf of bread and some orange juice, and the textbook I need for my course. and that pretty much takes care of the money that was in my account and almost my entire overdraft.
Perhaps if I call the bank and ask them very nicely they will give me a wee bit of extra overdraft just until my loan comes through?
Also, the Freshers' Flu is still here with a vengeance, which put a bit of a damper on my first day of lectures, since I wanted to be asleep for most of it. But everyone is in the same boat.
