cosmic_llinWent into town today to get a bunch of photos developed. Have had the films quite a while, the oldest one is a couple of years old. Really weird to see how everyone has changed since I took them! Will take them to the Mulberry tonight for everyone to have a look.
Chilled out/spaced out day on Sunday. Went out drinking with my Mum, Stepdad, Tim and Sally (and my brother) on Saturday night which is always fatal. Started out as a nice drink in our local. Tried to buy a round but Tim insisted on paying for it - felt a bit cheap, but hey he has eight houses he can afford it.
We ended up stopping off at ours at midnight to pick up my sister, then going to Tim and Sally's. We ended up there until four in the morning. (Well, Els and I did - Mum and Wil stayed until six, they are much more hard-core than us.) A free piece of advice - don't drink things that are on fire. Really. And if you do drink things that are on fire, take the straw out as soon as you stop drinking, or the straw will be on fire too. Then, having failed to take the straw out in time, don't panic and start waving it at everybody. Hehe.
Mum was quite inebriated and kept giving me and Els the lecture that goes: 'You know, you know what, I have a life!! A real life!! I'm not just your mother!! I have a real life, and another life that's my other life!! My family life, and my real life!! I'm a REAL PERSON!! God, I love you girls!! Where did that bottle go?' Then she starts singing Calon Lan.
Meanwhile, Wil (Stepdad) is going: 'Llinos, I'm really going to miss you, you know.'
And I go: 'Yeah, I know, I'll miss you too,'
and he's like: 'NO!! I REALLY WILL MISS YOU!! HONESTLY!!'
'Yeah, me too.'
'You're the best stepdaughter ever. Apart from Elen. i'm really going to miss you.'
'Um..yup.'
'No, really! I really will!! Loads and loads!'
Ah, bless.
So Sunday was quiet, owing to the extreme hangovers.
Pub quiz tonight!!
