Hello all!

The new flat is lovely, spacious, colourful and friendly, pictures to follow! But it won't have internet (or TV, or phone) until the 14th, so the generous silly_cleo is letting us steal hers for a bit today.

Next week we're going on a mission to buy all the bookshelves, and possibly a cutlery tray and some picture hooks. Hurrah!

I feel like I had other things to say, but having a finite period in which to catch up with all the internet has befuddled me a bit. Um. Hope everyone is well and having a good weekend!

Yay for the new flat! Enjoy your internetlessness as much as possible – it can be so liberating.

And you remind me that man do I ever need ALL THE BOOKSHELVES. Books everywhere. Books on the floor; books covering the entire surfaces of both my desks, the coffee table, and the kitchen table; books in the bed; books on the cat... It's getting dire. (I suppose I could return some of the 122 books I have out from the library, but what if I need these obscure sermons or that Spenser concordance or three biographies of Augustine?)
