Welcome, one and all, to the Trek Femslash Comment Ficathon!

Rules and What-not:

1. Stories should be femslash. And about Star Trek characters. Crossovers are a-ok. Any length, any rating, any theme or style. Heck, if you're moved to a vid or icons or something, those are good too.
2. Prompts should be in the format PAIRING; PROMPT WORD(S)
3. Leave as many prompts as you like, fill as many as you like. There's no need to post a story if you post a prompt.
4. Feel free to write for prompts that already have fills - the more the merrier!
5. For fills, please note pairing, rating and any applicable warnings in the comment header.

'It won't work just because you think it ought to,' Leah snapped. 'This is why there are procedures – so that when something goes wrong, we can figure out why.'

B'Elanna drew a long breath, held it, and let it out again. 'I know that,' she said, with ragged calm. 'And I'm telling you that I don't just think it ought to work, I know for a fact that it does work. I wouldn't be sitting here arguing with you now if it didn't, I'd be in pieces somewhere in the Delta Quadrant.'

Starfleet had been very interested in Voyager's engineering upgrades. B'Elanna had been thrilled to hear that she would be working with the famous Leah Brahms on the project to analyse them and integrate them into the Starfleet database.

She hadn't expected the famous Leah Brahms to be quite so pig-headed and argumentative.

She quite liked it.

'Look,' said Leah, draining her drink and gesturing to a server for another one, 'I'm sorry I even brought it up. We can try again in the morning. Arguing over engineering problems is no way to spend our off hours.'

B'Elanna raised her eyebrows. 'How else are we going to spend them?'

'Good point,' said Leah.

So they argued until the barman turned the lights on and started pointedly engaging the self-clean systems. Then they argued all the way back to Leah's apartment. And all the way until morning.

I don't know, I find I'm having trouble because I don't want B'Elanna to cheat on Tom... I'll add it to the list though, and keep pondering... ;)

In my verse Tom got his happily ever after with Kes. Leah Brahms' husband died a heroic death fighting against the Dominion. Tragic, but true. ;/

This made me yell 'YES!' and do a Steve-Holt-style double-airpunch in my office this afternoon. The august and very French senior professor who is my office-neighbor poked his head in to say with a wry and very French headshake, 'Eh beh ma fille, j'constate que tout va bien chez toi!'
