DS9 Rewatch

Just a brief note to say that there's a new ds9_rewatch comm, starting very soon, should be heaps of fun!

Folk who've seen it before, wouldn't it be great to see it again? Folk who haven't or have only seen a bit, this is your chance to jump on board and enjoy maximum shared squee-age! (liastra2, silly_cleo, I'm especially looking at you guys... actually ladyvivien I think it'd be right up your street too...)

Anyone who hasn't seen it - imagine something that's good like Battlestar Galactica, but like a billion times funnier and with less (although still some) angst.

I'm excited! Yay!

Yayayayayayay!! OMG, you will not regret it... the first season is a bit hard-going but once you hit season 2 it's AWESOME... don't forget to watch the comm as well as joining!

Awesome :D I've only seen partway through the third season, so a a combined rewatch and first-watch sounds great! My work hours are so whack, though, I hope I can make some of the official rewatches >.

I'd love to rewatch that series! I saw some old Deep Space 9 fan magazines in the used book store recently and got all nostalgic. I think I only have a few episodes on VHS, but I should dig those out again.

I'll try to check in on that comm. Per your other recent post, I'm also going to try to dig out the DS9 fic I wrote for a charity bid that I think you'd like. It's a story to try to find a happy ending where Dax and her "ex" from "Rejoined" can be together. I think it'd be right up your alley.

Yes. My all time favourite hilarious sci fi moment ever: Julian and Miles singing Jerusalem. WTF?!

And think of the potential for BSG crossover too. 'Cos there's Kira, who turns into Emily, and Baltar's absolutely uncanny resemblance to Bashir. I was convinced it was the same actor until a friend pointed out forcibly that it WASN'T.
