cosmic_llinAnother productive day today. Actually got up at a halfway-civilised time, and tackled the huge pile of ironing I mentioned yesterday. As predicted, the time went quickly as I watched ER and MASH while I worked.
Decided that, since I'll be on holiday when my sister is in the carnival parade, I'd make her a scrunchie to match her dress using the leftover material. So spent some of the afternoon purchasing elastic, cutting, tacking, stitching etc and the end result was pretty fab, if I do say so myself.
Now only two days until I go on holiday!! After writing this I'm going to start my packing! And possibly write some more fic! I've been on a real creativity kick lately, it's fantastic. Have an idea for a new Exodus story, but I also really want to finish one of my MASH fics.
Realised it's coming up to Acrimonious August at the Cosmic Cheerleaders, so really need to get that sorted out fairly soon.
Aaaaaahhhh!! Got an email from Poppy and she thinks we should go to Brighton on Saturday! Wheee!!
My sister wants me to go and see the concrete cows when we get to Milton Keynes, but frankly I'd rather go shopping than look at a bunch of fake farm animals, when I can go to my uncle's farm anyday and see a bunch of real cows, not to mention sheep, chickens, ducks, sheepdogs etc etc. Have been trying to persuade my Dad to get some chickens when he moves into my grandparents' house and gets all their land, but he doesn't want any. He just wants to let people keep their horses there.
