In other news, I am ill at home for the second day in a row, listlessly poking the internet with iPlayered Doctor Who on in the background... carawj has been looking after me very well but she is out now doing family stuff!

Off to Wales on Sunday morning for a Secret Mission, but before that, Jim Moray gig tomorrow night! Hope I am well enough by then to make it as far as Finchley. I am determined.

Yay! Good for you! (Not being sick, seeing Bonnie. Boo for being sick, though I'm glad it's getting you some downtime, at least.) Glad carawj is a good caretaker! Not sure I'd congratulated you on being part of a happy couple, but I'm glad you two seem really good together.

For the fandom stocking, does a fic have to be shippy? Because I have a drabble idea for two characters you like, but it's more just a friend moment (sort of), not necessarily romantic (though I'm sure these things can be read into).

Great! That'll be on your way after I take my last final tomorrow. I'm itching to get back to my fics, especially since I just got the 4th season of Doctor Who and it's reminding me of a couple works in progress that I never finished.

Out of linguistic curiosity, BTW, how do you pronounce "carawj"? (If that's an actual Welsh name or word)

Hee! Cara is actually quite a Welsh first name, although it isn't exclusively Welsh, and her surname is really Welsh too, even though she's descended from Russian Jews and raised entirely in London... go figure...

I'm personally really, really good (apart from being a bit snuffly and whatever). My family is being difficult (apart from madness_hamster, of course), but if there's a huge breach now, at least I expected it more than a year ago, and I'm better able to deal with it now.
Yes, 5 kittens. 6 weeks old now, and they haz cuteness in spades! The laser cat that elder_goddess uses as an icon is the mum.
