Hmm...
After an epiphanous conversation with sashavangenius, I've realised what my novel needs.
Unfortunately it means that I have to write half as much again and rearrange some stuff, which will put me back several weeks.
But I think it's going to work really well!

Going back to Nottingham on Sunday, whee!!!

Oh my, that sounds strangely...familiar :P

I've been maddeningly ill for the past couple of days. Slept almost non-stop (with the exception of occasional groan breaks and trying to focus on a book for five or ten minutes between sleeps) from 0200 Friday to 0930 today. Still unwell and weak but at least I've just had a long hot bath and am going to attempt the nice sunny outdoors presently. The most frustrating part of all this is that I've not been able to get ANY writing done. Not Chrons, not even zine. Arrgh arrgh arrgh. This too shall pass, but, y'know, arrgh :-(
