So, I finished the first draft of my screenplay. 10,200 words in three days. Definitely a personal best.
Having said that, it's VERY first-drafty. I basically banged through it as quick as I could to get all the scenes in the right places and the plot all down. I want to go through it scene by scene now and tidy it all up. Oh, and maybe 10% of those words are things like "CUT TO:" and "INT. DRESSING ROOM. DAY", so it isn't quite as impressive as it sounds. Still not half bad though.
According to the screenwriting software, it'll run about an hour, but I'd say more like an hour and a half, because the bits with no dialogue mostly only take up a line or so on paper, whereas they could be worth several minutes onscreen.
I'm a bit cross with the people who make the software, because I can't send it to anyone until I buy the program, which I would do, but they can't take my card, and they haven't emailed me back yet about alternative methods of payment. So I'm stuck until they do, really. I can't even c/p scenes into word.
I can, however, c/p the various fun reports and stuff that you can get. So if anyone is interested...

Other than that, haven't really done much all day. Oh, except I went to Iceland to buy juice. Feeling a bit melancholy and cross about various things. Haven't finished my homework. I'm cutting it rather fine if I expect to finish it, too.
