Even if they said it would be gone for 7-10 days, and it has actually been gone 16 days, I'm just so glad to have it back! There's just so much I need to catch up on, what with websites and people I need to email, and all sorts of stuff. Plus I have a lot of DVDs that desperately need watching. *Does the X-Files dance*.
Anyone remember the literature essay I had, where I wrote half the wrong essay before I realised it? Well, I got it back, and I actually managed to scrape a 1st, which is pretty cool! I'll be getting all of my exam results back tomorrow morning. I'm not too concerned about Russian, but my German hasn't been great recently. I probably haven't failed, but I don't think I've done especially well either.
I'm sure when my laptop was gone I had all sorts of profound and fascinating things to write in my lj, but as soon as my fingers touched the keys they all fled from my brain. Oh well, I guess they will still be profound and fascinating if I remember them later.
My timetable for this semester is nearly finalised now - I start at 9 every day, which isn't great, but most days I finish quite early. I think I'd really rather have to get up and be able to finish early and have the rest of the day to play with, than have a long lie-in and not finish until dinner time, but it's still a pain getting up in the mornings.
