*takes deep breaths*
*finds it doesn't help*
So, I've been on the phone for almost two hours without speaking to an actual human being for more than about ten seconds, and certainly not to one who actually knows where my laptop is or call tell me how to go about finding it.
I have my notebook open now with about eight numbers written on it, all of whom claim to be the desks for various variations on the theme of 'Lost Property' 'Left Luggage' etc, and none of whom appear to have anything to do with luggage left in the baggage claim of Terminal One.
Several of those people put me through to the same number, and so, going on the hope that if so many people gave me it it must be right, I held the line for a very long time, only to eventually be told, by a very grumpy woman, that it was the completely wrong place.
Another number was 'experiencing an unexpected fault'. Customer service was too busy and a recorded message advised me to try again later or have a look on their useless bloody website.
At one point I ended up speaking to someone in South Africa. Who was lovely and sweet, but obviously not the person to help me find something in London...
Then there was another sweet guy on some other desk who told me how to get the customer service people to buck their ideas up and help me, but since I couldn't even get through to them it didn't really help.
I finally got onto what seems to be the right number.
The desk is closed today due to adverse weather conditions.

Is the fog stopping you from seeing the luggage tags??!?!?!
I know it was stupid of me to leave it there, but surely I didn't deserve this??

Grrr, st00pid weather. What's that got to do with the bloody phone lines?
