So, I've watched a bunch of stuff the last few days:
One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest: Scary! OMG Louise Fletcher, you are terrifying! And poor Brad Dourif! There are so many cool people in this film.
The Witches of Eastwick: Fun, kinda icky in places. And makes me fancy Susan Sarandon like woah.
Doctor Who: Robot: Aaaww, how sweet is SJ? Looking after the poor thing when everyone else just wants to shoot it? And I love that she just goes off on her own adventure without waiting for the Doctor. Ooh, and the fact that he just takes it as read that she'll come and rescue him when his plan goes wrong. And she totally pwns those science people.
Doctor Who: Pyramids of Mars: SJ gets a gun!! How is she so good with it, has she had lessons? But, OMG, only one outfit the whole way through. But it was a pretty cool one, at that. And that scene near the end makes me cry...
Stargate SG1: 200: Bwahahaha! I loved it! Every second!
Stargate Atlantis: Sateda, Progeny, The Real World: I liked Sateda more than I was expecting too, actually. Bless Ronon and Carson at the end. And my poor Rodney! And Progeny was cool cos Liz went on the mission and stuffs. As for The Real World... hmm. I was expecting to like it more. I mean, I think Torri Higginson did a fantastic job, and she did keep me pretty riveted, but the episode as a whole was a bit of a let-down. This format has been done so well in other shows, and here it just seemed... wasted somehow. Like there was something missing. But still I did really like it, for the Liz-ness, and for the team being all worried
Right, now I've got all that off my chest...
Three days to go until I finish work! But those three days are the bank holiday weekend, bleh. So, sorry everyone, but I'm praying for lots of rain...
bunnyvon and
cadiliniel, the other night I had a dream that the three of us entered a talent contest, singing Three Little Maids From School Are We from The Mikado... but we forgot all the words.
Less than two weeks now until I go to Russia, so... if anyone has any DVDs of mine, could I have them back? And remind me of anything of yours I have that needs returning if I haven't mentioned it already...
3_fries_short, congrats on your GCSE results, you genius, you! Are you coming over tomorrow night, since Tina and Roger are coming?
Ooh, I got lots of cool stuff in the post yesterday, like a Jim Moray album, my new pen drive and K9 and Company on video! Wonder why they called it that, though?:
Elisabeth Sladen: Hello?
BBC: Yo, is that Lis Sladen?
ES: Sure is.
BBC: Well, we've decided, since you're the most popular companion EVAH, we're going to give you your own spin-off.
ES: Kick ass. Am I investigating stuff?
BBC: Sure are. But... um... with a bit of help from that tin dog, K9.
ES: Oh, yeah, I know the one. Cool. Might be nice to have a sidekick. What's the show called? The Adventures of Sarah Jane? Sarah Jane Saves The World?
BBC: Well... actually we're naming it after the dog...
ES: *sound of tea spraying everywhere*
