Well, the party is still going on in the other post, but I thought I'd tell everyone what I've been up to all week!
Well, [livejournal.com profile] sashavangenius arrived on Tuesday afternoon, two hours late due to a combination of bad luck and silliness, and it was very nice to see her! Her new hair colour is very pretty. We went back to mine, had a quick tea and then hurried out to the bus stop to catch the bus into town for the theatre.
The bus didn't arrive. We had to call my Dad and beg for a lift to the theatre, but we got there in the end, and we saw Cats, hooray! It was beyond cool. An annoying man coughed right in Grizabella's big dramatic pause, but apart from that it was a fantastic performance! I think Grizabella is my favourite cat.
After the show we came back to mine, all excited about musicals and stuff, and we watched Pirates of the Caribbean before we went to bed.
Wednesday we woke up fairly early, and went into Conwy for the day. We went to the Butterfly House, we popped into [livejournal.com profile] cadiliniel's shop (she wasn't there) and had lunch in the cafe next door, then went to the castle and the Smallest House and wandered around the shops before going to the station to pick Claire up.
Then we all went back to mine to get ready for the party!
The party was WICKED. There was dancing and chatting and hugging and Twister and drinking games and Disney songs and all sorts of cool things! It finished off at about three in the morning.
Yesterday morning, we got up at about half eight, since [livejournal.com profile] sashavangenius had to catch the train back home. My brother kindly drove us to the station, then once we'd waved her off Claire and I went to Penrhyn Castle for the day, which was lovely and had many interesting shiny things.
Then this morning Claire and I went for a walk up the mountain, and then this afternoon she went home, and then I went to my Mum's for tea, which was lovely!
I was supposed to go out tonight with the gang from school, but I felt all floopy so I stayed in. And now there are only 15 precious minutes remaining of my 20th birthday...

I got two - Raindance Writers' Lab - Write and Sell the Hot Screenplay, and How Not To Write A Screenplay: 101 Common Mistakes Most Screenwriters Make.
And hello! I see you're a screenwriting hopeful too! How are you getting on?

the first one is new to me so of course I am excited to hear about it. I try to read as many as I can (even if they are not good I find at least one positive thing about it). I am right in the middle of another draft, getting my 'baby' ready for the Nicholl this year. First time out into the world and I am going for the Big One. I added you BTW, I also have a blogger blog too (linked in my LJ).. good to hear from a fellow scribe.. Happy Easter

*adds you back*
Yeah, that first book comes with a CD-Rom too - once I read it properly I'll let you know if it's any good!
What's your screenplay about? Good luck with the Nicholl! I don't think my screenplay will be ready in time, but maybe I'll try next year.
Your blog looks interesting!

one year ago I started seriously writing scripts so keep at it. I never thought I'd be ready to present them to anyone so I am doing the contest route and see what happens... maybe I can sneak in the back door somewhere... this one is a horror/comedy with a mafia twist
