Strange sort of day. Nice, though. Just mooching and hanging around. Rich is being very generous about the TV this weekend. Which is kind of him.
Feel a bit lonely at the moment. Bought some new shoes this afternoon and I still didn't really feel any better. Maybe I should have got them in blue instead...
Ooh, but I finally watched Ripple Effect, hooray! It wasn't as funny as I thought it would be but it was sweet, and cool. I especially liked the scene with all the Carters, with the nod to the nerdy Carter in Moebius, and the tray full of blue jello. And of course the end was sweet.
Also watched the Mark Steel lecture on Chaucer on BBC Four this evening, which was interesting too! Saw the trailer for The Chatterley Affair, which I'll hopefully have time to watch on Monday if my Three Sisters presentation is ready.
And I spoke to
elektrik_storm! So that was nice!
Hmmm. I really need to do some work tomorrow. Has anyone read Three Sisters by Chekhov? If you were in my seminar class, what would you want to know about it?

And the man says, "Do not be taken in! A dress alone cannot do that!"
And the woman says, "You are right! I will have the shoes and the bag as well!"
Gosh, he knows women so well...!
Enjoy your shoes! Shoes make the world go round!
