If Rolanda Hooch had been thirty years younger, people would have called her a tomboy. As it was, they hardly knew what to call her, as she strode about the pitch with her short hair, sensible shoes and heavy robes and gloves, roaring at the players.
Feminine wasn’t a word used to describe her. Nor was gentle, or sweet. Perhaps they would say striking, but not lovely. Friendly, but not tender.
But that was alright, because nobody else needed to know. Under her robes she always wore the diamond pendant that Minerva had given her.
‘As exquisite as you are,’ she had said, with a kiss.
That was enough for Rolanda.

Date: 2006-02-15 07:14 pm (UTC)The yellow hawkeyes look amazing on the original pic, in the icon they look good but on the magazine cover it looks like I've coloured the whites of her eyes too and I didn't, it's a puzzlement.
I'm just going to give it a go and see what happens!
