Well, it's official. I got runner-up in both the Harry Potter category and the Other category for the Showmasters fic contest! Go me! Also, huge yays for cadiliniel for getting the first prize in Other (and runner-up in HP!), more yays for smirnoff_ryuu for oh-so-nearly getting first in Harry Potter, and of course super yays for 3_fries_short for getting runner-up in both too! We all rock so hard!
Couple of things about G-Mex - there is only one cashpoint in the whole place, so, guys, take out plenty of cash before we get there, and don't keep it all in one place. Also remember to top-up and charge phones since we'll all need to get in touch to find each other! And you all owe me £28 for the hotel. And OMG THREE DAYS TO GO.
I've been listening to Wicked all day and I've figured out who Idina Menzel's voice reminds me of... Katey Sagal. Anyone else think so? I wonder if Katey Sagal can sing...? sashavangenius, I've nearly learned the whole of "What Is This Feeling?" - we should sing it on the train and scare people.
Watched Battleship Potemkin today in Soviet Cinema! It was pretty damn good, actually...
Then this evening I watched Triangle, one of my favourite XF eps that I haven't seen for ages. It rocked, but, why, why, why would you put Gillian Anderson in a gorgeous red dress and then light it so craply that you can hardly see it??

Yeah, G-Mex has a restaurant but I dunno what sort of place it is so we might need to venture further afield for some cheaper food...

Hell yeah - Idina Menzel is very Katey Segal-esque. I.e they both kick ass.
