cosmic_llinSo, I watched the Battlestar Galactica Miniseries piloty thing....
OMG it was so cool!!
It seemed to take a little while to really get going, but once it did - woah! So dramatic!
Laura Roslin = LOVE!!! It was just incredible the way she stayed so calm and just took charge of everybody and knew exactly what to do, even though she was nervous as hell and obviously had other stuff on her mind. And she got all the funniest lines...
Boomer was so cute! I couldn't believe it at the end - does she know she's a Cylon? Or is she one of those sleeper thingies? Because she just seemed so adorable and I really want to like her...
I didn't like that Colonel guy, I thought he was mean. But, ha, Starbuck told him off.
Not sure what I think about Starbuck yet. I think I like her, though.
Commander Adama seems like an interesting guy... I think I approve of him. But I can imagine he's going to piss me off sometimes. And Apollo was a bit... meh. I'm sure I'll get to like them both more as I watch Season One, but sometimes it just annoys me when pilot episodes are all: Look! We have a tragic back-story and we're going to have a really complicated relationship! I mean, I guess that's a bit illogical since half the point of the pilot episode is to reveal those sorts of things to establish them for the rest of the series, but sometimes it feels like too much.
So, yeah. Overall, I was pretty damn impressed!

I LOVE Colonel Tigh...but that's cause Michael Hogan's Canadian and I think he's adorable. I'm weird.
Kara's awesome...she'll grow on you.
No no...Bill's gonna be FINE. He gets a lot better as it goes on (Then again I started watching from season 2 so went backwards). You'll love him, honest!
I hate Lee...I'm biased so will never be objective there. Don't ask.
Season One will flesh it out more...much enjoyment there (AND OMG MOM/DAD LOVE!).
