Trunk of Blood!

So, interesting week in a lot of ways.
Monday, I saw
bunnyvon off ok, went to lectures, then got on the train myself to get back to Wales. I had a bit of a scare because I fell asleep on the train, and when I woke up there was nobody there and it was all dark, but luckily I was still in Crewe, so no harm done. I got the Virgin Pendolino, my favourite train ever, from there, and plugged my laptop in and did loads of writing, which was nice. Got home by about ten, chatted with Dad and Tina and Roger, went to bed in
3_fries_short's room, fell asleep right away. (By the way, I took HBP from your bookshelf, I'll bring it back next week).
Tuesday was the funeral. As funerals go, it was pretty nice really - lots of people showed up, the service was nice, etc.
Wednesday, I spent some quality time with my mother! Yes, it's true! We went shopping and had lunch, and it was very nice and easy-going and things. Considering it was my idea to go shopping, Mum got a lot more stuff than I did, but then my loan still hasn't gone in (GRR) so I couldn't really spend much. Got something for Rich, though.
So then she dropped me off in Conwy, I met
deccaboo, and we met
3_fries_short and
elektrik_storm after school, and we all went to Pizza Hut and the cinema. We saw Keeping Mum - it was one of those strange films that would have been incredibly mediocre and dull if it hadn't been for the acting, which was class. Maggie Smith rocks! Seeing her tell a joke is the cutest thing ever. Kristin Scott Thomas was adorable in it too. So, as it was, I really enjoyed it, but it somehow seemed like it could have been a lot more than it was. Think I'll watch it again when it comes out on DVD though.
So after my lovely Wednesday, I just had a day of travelling today, on manky boring trains. But when I got back, the Christmas tree was all up and decorated, which was lovely. And Claire and I caught up on our Bleak House, so all in all, not a bad day.
And that's what I've been up to! I may catch up with my flist and I may not, so if there's anything important I need to pay attention to, do let me know!
