Some Stuff...

cosmic_llinSo apparently I may have this thing called trigeminal neuralgia. I'm not 100% convinced because the doctor diagnosed it pretty quickly (although the other main candidates, sinus infection and dental cavity, had been pretty much ruled out by that point) so I'm going to get a second opinion etc, but it does sound very like what I've been experiencing. And apparently if it is that I will have it my entire life YAY.
So that kind of sucks. But I got given some super-strong stuff for it that seems like it might be helping. It's making me super-woozy but also I typed this whole thing so far without a break to go 'AAARGH MY FACE PLEASE GOD MAKE IT STOP' which is an improvement on how my week has been going so far.
Hmm, I was going to do a separate post but what the heck, now I'm typing. I finished watching Huge and I have some thoughts:
The cut text pretty much sums up my reaction - partly in that it was such a perfect, beautiful show that was cut down in its prime, and partly because those last couple of episodes set up so many exciting things that I really would have loved to see play out. Most of all the Alistair/Athena stuff. Like, what a wonderful storyline that was beginning to turn into. That scene with the mirror - aaaaaaaahhh!!! Also Salty's other kid - wow. I'm sure they would have done something with that if it had carried on.
Also I'm worried about Becca and Will's friendship - I really need to know whether Will gets a clue, and what Becca's feelings towards her actually are. Plus I just love to watch Becca in general. I'm really enjoying her interactions with Alistair.
I really want to see Dorothy ditch that stupid tennis guy once and for all. She can have something so much better and healthier. I want to see Piz figure himself out, and realise that if he actually wants people to like him and be impressed by him, it's better to be himself than to try so hard to be what he thinks people want. I feel similarly about Chloe - just because she's trying new things and making changes, it doesn't mean she has to let go of everything she used to like.
Aaaargh, basically I just have to know if they're all going to be ok. *squishes them* Fic recs, anyone?

carawj and I caught up on Once Upon a Time. OMG it is so much fun. I'm actually kind of sad that we caught up because now we can't marathon it, but at least now I will actually know what damelola is talking about all the time. ;D
