That 25 Things... Thing...

Well, everyone else is doing it... and I wasn't going to, but I was told to. :P
So, without further ado:
1. I had an imaginary friend almost until I was in my teens.
2. I am leaning to play the piano. I really wish I'd learned as a child so that I could already do it, but having lessons is still pretty cool. I already play the clarinet and sax, so at least I've got somewhere to start from.
3. Every time I see a Nissan Figaro, I wish on it, and I always wish for the same thing.
4. I would hate to live in Russia full-time. I would also hate to not go there as often as possible. There are no good solutions that don't involve spending piles of money on plane tickets.
5. I have never had a valentine.
6. When I was little, my favourite food was jam, because it was red, which was my favourite colour. It made sense at the time.
7. I like pie almost more than is natural.
8. I read Pollyanna as a child and found it genuinely inspiring and tried to live my life like the girl in the book.
9. I want to be rich, and I always have. It's not that I want money for its own sake, but I want to be able to travel and go to the theatre whenever I like, and that doesn't come cheap. It doesn't have to be millions - just enough so that I don't have to choose between the plays I want to see and the places I want to go.
10. My front teeth aren't my real front teeth.
11. Half the things I'm writing down here I'm changing my mind about and deleting straight away.
12. I have an older brother and a younger sister (hi,
3_fries_short!), a mother, a stepfather, a father, and a stepmother who died a few years ago.
13. London for me is like the Emerald City. I waited so long to come here, and I was not disappointed.
14. I would like to foster or adopt children at some point. I'd like to have a couple of my own, too, but there are so many kids out there who need someone, and I'd like to be one of those someones.
15. I went through a hyper-religious phase as a child when I believed that God had chosen me for a special purpose, and that was why the other kids thought I was weird.
16. I really want to go to Boston and I'm not sure why.
17. I love it when they put poems on the Underground and I think there should be lots more.
18. I once tried to learn Norwegian, just because I liked the sound of it. I haven't given up, either - I'm just on hiatus. :P
19. When I think about how I'll have to get up early on weekday mornings and go out in rush hour and get the tube for as long as I have a regular job, it makes me horribly depressed.
20. I intend not to have a regular job for very much longer. And certainly not a career. Not that sort, anyway.
21. I would wear period costume every day if there was any way to make it remotely practical or affordable.
22. I have no idea what the future holds, beyond the next few months. I'm not sure how I feel about that.
23. I have never been to Scotland.
24. I'm just not that interested in learning to drive.
25. In the nativity play, they used to make me play the innkeeper. Not even the innkeeper's wife, but the actual innkeeper. My sister was Mary. Deep down I still feel this was an injustice.
