Yes, it's a post made of the first paragraphs of my first posts for every month this year!
Pointless? Yes.
Better than revising? That too.

Finally have arrived back at Uni, and I'm so glad to be back, even if I'm hugely not looking forward to the upcoming exams. The day got off to a not-very-auspicious start when my Dad's car wouldn't go, and my brother had to jump-start it. We got going eventually.
Yes, this is the celebratory, my-laptop-just-came-back lj entry!
Well, thanks to penguin2, I have Call Me Al stuck in my head, and am likely to have for quite some time. :p It's just going around and around, it just won't stop!
Well, I will be catching a train in just about thirteen hours time, and have I packed yet? Have I hell.
This has been such an incredible weekend!
Grr. I spent an hour and a half tidying the kitchen this morning, for a couple of reasons. Firstly, it really, really needed doing. It was like a curry had exploded in there. The microwave was full of gunk, the floor was sticky and gross, there was a huge stack of washing up and there was rice all over, well, everything. Also, Claire is coming back today and it really gets on her nerves when the kitchen is a mess, and doubly so when she's just got back, because of course it's not nice to come back to a messy flat.
OK, just posting briefly from the internet cafe which is rapidly becoming my second home.
First of all, I'm shocked about the bombings in London, but it's hard to get any news here. I hope everyone on my f-list is ok. Having a good time in Russia, learning to play the balalaika, chilling out in cafes all day, off to Moscow tomorrow.
Internet access is still sporadic - the network is working fine, it's just my stepdad being childish. But, here I am, online at the moment.
Still no permanent internet for poor little me! I'm forever indebted to 3_fries_short for letting me use her computer so much! But it's still getting me down because no MSN, and my access is still very limited.

Happy December everyone! I've suddenly really got back into a writing mood, which is annoying because I have all this work to do. Still, once I get these two essays handed in, one of which I still haven't started, and catch up on all my ordinary homework, hooray, I have plenty of writing to work on!
