It's just a jump to the left...

Aah, just got back from tiggerthehobbit 's partaay. It was wicked, but now I feel quite sick, unfortunately not through drunkenness. I just have a very delicate stomach - it's impossible to predict what will set it off. Apparently malibu and pineapple followed by orange juice will do it. So I'm sipping my iced water and hoping I'll feel ok soon, since I'll have to stay upright until I do, and I have to get up early tomorrow for the Royal Visit (ie, my aunty is coming over).

Finally got some Christmas shopping done today, managed to find things for Mum, Wil, Rhys, Dorothy, Elen and half of Jess' present. Sigh. Still a fair bit to go though.

Had a bit of a misunderstanding with my sister the other day about Stargate. It went:

Me: Hey, what episode of Stargate are we watching next?

Els: The Light.

Me: (genuinely mishearing) The Lice? Whut? Like, SG1 get lice?

Els: No, the LIGHT, dumbo.

Me: Ooohh.

 

...Which led to an amusing discussion about what would actually happen if SG1 got lice...
