Stupid German Grammar is really getting me down, plus I found out I can't even take the extra catch-up classes because they clash with Russian Grammar. And to top it all off, we aren't even getting a proper week off for Reading Week, because our main Russian module is an intensive module, so apparently all of the Russian will fall out of our brains if we don't have classes for a week. So this frells things up for Poppy coming to stay, and just messes up my plans generally. Fair enough if they had told us about it at the beginning of term, but they only let us know today, and lots of people have already made plans.
Should really be preparing a presentation for Russian tomorrow morning, but just can't stir myself to do it.
Interesting news, we might be getting a new flatmate. The fifth girl who was supposed to be in our flat decided not to come, and the room has been empty since the beginning of term. But someone is supposed to be moving in today, but seeing as it's gone ten at night I doubt they'll be here until tomorrow.
Had a peculiar dream last night. The crew of Next Gen all went to a bar, which looked a bit like the Magic Box in Buffy. They were all wearing their outfits from Insurrection, possibly because that is my new desktop. Q was there, but he wasn't the ordinary Q - he looked like him but he was evil. He possessed Deanna and she started acting really mean to everyone. Then she was Deanna again and suddenly a whole load of evil Q came in and started fighting the crew. Spike from BTVS was involved somehow, on the crew's side, I think, but this bit is foggy. Then Deanna drank something from a frothing beaker marked 65%, some kind of potion to help her fight the Q possession, but a few Q grabbed her and pulled her away. There were some steps, really high like the ones in Ten Things I Hate About You, only much steeper and more ominous-looking. The Q pushed her up the steps, and they had done something so that she couldn't open her eyes to see where she was going and she kept stumbling. Will managed to break away from the fighting and ran to help her, but one of the Q phasered him and he fell down the stairs. Deanna was really angry and tried to go to Will but the Q wouldn't let her. At this point there was a lot of shouting and drama, and I decided to rewind the dream (!) and have another look at what was going on. So the action went backwards to the point where they entered the bar/Magic Box and started again. Then the damn snooze went off and I woke up!
