Sep. 30th, 2004 10:02 pmMany nice things happened today!
Firstly, my loan arrived! I have some actual money for Collectormania!
Also, I went to my Russian oral class, and I've been feeling really out of my depth and stupid, but today it was a lot better and I think I picked stuff up faster.
The book I need for Russian literature was in the bookshop, so I didn't need to order it, so I have all week to read it instead of ordering it and having to read it all in a day.
I had a lovely baked potato for lunch.
I was worried about my German Lektorin class because my German is a bit rusty from lack of use, but I followed everything fine and even though she picked on me to talk to the class first I still did ok.
In my Russian grammar class we got to look through magazines for celebrities' names in Russian.
My seminar on Hitler and the Third Reich was fascinating.
I had macaroni cheese on toast for tea and a treacle tart for pudding as a special treat.
Claire made me a nice honey and lemon drink for my poor throat (like the Pry Bach Tew!) and it's feeling a bit better.
Off to Milton Keynes tomorrow!
Ooh, should probably pack.
