Sexo: Masculino
Aug. 26th, 2004 05:29 pmFound out today that the Student Loans Company thinks I am male. The guy on the phone seemed sympathetic, but he was obviously laughing, although I can hardly blame him because it is frankly ridiculous. Hopefully he has sorted it all out for me now - it doesn't affect my loan entitlement, but it's still an irritation.
Speaking of preparation for Uni, my Switch card for my Student account arrived today!
Also I've been sorting through my stuff, deciding what to take, what to leave, what to throw. I'm on my third rubbish bag at the moment, having cleared out my desk, bookshelves, drawers and boxes under the bed. Have been forced to limit myself to a single large box of books to take with me - not convinced it will be enough, but hey, they have bookshops in Nottingham.
Had a blast at Hannah's yesterday, Han, Gem, Suz, Dan and I had been called upon to fix Ed's hair up for Reading Festival. He has that very curly hair like wire wool, so we straightened it first with Gem's straighteners, then put it all into little plaits and put beads into it. It looked wicked!
