(no subject)

Am staying at my Dad's this fortnight, since I'm apparently too old to go on the family holiday with my mother, stepfather and little sister, and my stepfather doesn't trust me in his house while they're away. Grr.
But anyway, this has led to a quest to find stuff to do while I am here, and so we're doing a car boot sale on Sunday, in order to a) get rid of some of my stuff before I go to Uni; b) raise some money for a laptop and c) ease my boredom.
So I've spent some time sorting out my room, and have finally decided that I will actually have to let some books go. Most of the Trek ones are for the chop and I'm only keeping my absolute favourites. Also going are all the cutesy little ornaments that I get given by elderly female relatives - sadly I just won't have enough shelf space for them in Uni.
Another thing I did this week in order to get rid of my not-on-holiday blues was a slepover, on Tuesday night, which went pretty well, I think. I also got to spend some time hanging out with just Yvonne, which was nice, because I hardly ever see her except at sleepovers.
