Jun. 28th, 2004 07:14 pmVery productive day today. In fact quite a productive few days.
Jess came over on Saturday, since I had an actual, honest-to-God Saturday off work, which almost never happens. We worked on our Exodus stuff, and Saturday evening and Sunday I ended up writing over 8,000 words on the rewrite of Liberty. Quite pleased with it.
Today I finally had to face up to the huge pile of handwashing with my name on it, since I need some clothes to take on holiday on Thursday (!!!!!!). Made the time go quickly by playing my Ella CD at full blast while I toiled, and ended up feeling in such a domestic mood that I cleaned the kitchen, living room and bathroom as well. Of course, the downside is that all that washing translates into a big pile of ironing tomorrow, but I'll do it in front of the TV so it's less boring.
Of course, the other news is that I finished my A-Levels! No more education for me until September! (Except that Nottingham want me to learn the Cyrillic alphabet before I arrive!) So a summer of roaming the country, writing fic, possibly having a couple of barbecues/parties/sleepovers, and generally chilling and having nothing hanging over me for the first time in several years.
Woohoo!
