Dude. You've already surpassed Rowling as a wordsmith. No, really. She's a harmless hack, but she's presumably been doing this for many years before she first got a publisher for the Potter series, and even after all the success and money and adulation she's still a harmless hack. You OTOH have definite potential; sure, these characters aren't your own creations, but you're breathing more life into them than their creator ever did.
