The weird thing is, I can remember when it was new and not a classic at all - I would have been about 11/12 when it was first on TV. One of the hazards of old age I suppose. :-)
(I don't mean it isn't wonderful, btw, just that it hasn't always been there as far as I'm concerned - like the people who saw Star Wars in the cinema when it first came out.)
Yes, The Snowman is my most favouritest Christmas thing ever. EVER. It's just so magical and perfect and I wish I had a Snowman like that. But naturally it makes me cry like the small child that I obviously am.
