Isn't it funny how differently we view things as we get older? When we're young we have such optimism. Everything seems so easy. Adulthood breaks some of that. But I've learned, as it seems you have too, that when life doesn't go the way we expect or "plan" on, sometimes even better things come along and if we get to stuck on the way we think things should be we can miss something wonderful and amazing.
