Okay, don't know if any of these will be what you're looking for, but some things:

In The Hole (Ripper Street, focus on science/detection, parallels I think between it and the (contemporary) The Wire, 1890s).

Somewhere a Clock is Ticking (Hollow Crown, price of the crown, Richard II-Henry V)

Serve (White Queen, Earl of Warwick)

Let's Go (Young Men Dead) (Lawrence of Arabia)

Everybody Wants to Rule the World (Ripper Street)

Hero (The Hour, 1950s BBC)

Am I To Be Made of Stone (Elizabeth I, using Elizabeth, Elizabeth R & the Virgin Queen).

Devotion (North & South, 1850s, but whole cast, so factory owners & workers & links across classes).

And I don't even know whether to mention these, because I don't think badly edited fanvids on unpretty 70s sources are what you're after here, but I made a couple for Shadow of the Tower, but Effigy (Henry VII & all the conspiracies) is long and has horribly glaring faults, but I did do a small challenge vid Company of Shadows (Death of Elizabeth of York/history/memory/ghosts). And I also made Death Waltz (Fall of Eagles, BBC 1970s epic about the fall of the European empires, leading to WWI and the Russian Revolution, 1850-1918. It is shaky, but it does have Patrick Stewart eating pancakes. Password: eagles.)
