Revolution without dancing is a revolution not worth having...
Back in Wales!
I'm still catching up on my flist, but I have a lot more time now so I should be back on track pretty soon.
Gah, I have had the WEEK FROM HELL. So mad busy. It actually feels odd now that I'm not rushing to get something handed in...
I got my multimedia project, my translation and my essay all in on time. The essay wasn't great. The other two were good, I think.
Yesterday I pretty much handed my stuff in then went straight to the cinema with
the_gentleman to see V for Vendetta. I thought it was incredibly cool, and the end was breathtaking. He wasn't so convinced, but then he's an original comic book snob...
Ooh, also I watched The Chatterley Affair, which was about the obscenity trial over Lady Chatterley's Lover - basically two of the jurors have an affair, and lots of cool people talk about how ace the book is. It was pretty good, not amazing. David Tennant was in it! He did a Yorkshire accent, it was wicked!
I left my packing until this morning, so I've probably forgotten something. I had to endure a horrible crowded train from Nottingham to Derby, but the other two were nice - I just stuck my headphones on and ignored everybody.
So here I am, back in Wales for a month. A whole month. Feels a bit odd. Off to Mum's for tea tomorrow, so I'll be able to see what they've been doing to the house. Then Monday I think I have the house to myself... so I'm thinking DVD marathon!
deccaboo,
elektrik_storm and
3_fries_short - we should do something this week. Or at any rate I want to see you all, even if we don't manage to do something all together.
3_fries_short, obviously I'll see you tomorrow anyway - ooh, and Dad got GOF today, and pretended that I persuaded him, hah!
bunnyvon and
cadiliniel, can't wait until you guys get back! By then we'll all be finished for Easter, I think. Are we doing something?
